Each and every one of the host families listed on OneHomes is registered as a “Private Lodging Business Operator” certified by their local governments.
This means that they must closely adhere to the rules of the Private Lodging Operations, which include: keeping properties clean, safe, and secure for guests, and preventing potential disagreements involving guests, host families and neighbors.
Each host will have their official certification number displayed on their profile information page.
OneHomes will donate 2% of the total accommodation fee* to organizations that support the restoration and redevelopment of areas of Japan that have been struck by natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, or typhoons.
We, at OneHomes, not only wish to facilitate meaningful connections between guests and host families, but also value and encourage connections between guests and local communities.
